    I think most of this is contamination, as if it were an actual main ingredient , they would be breaking laws by not listing it. Unfortunately as a vegan, you can only do so much to ensure that you're not eating animal products, and if the company doesn't list it then its really not our fault :)

    You need time to adapt, as with any new diet :) but also just try various things to try and bulk up the meal and its nutrishness! For instant, you could try a vegetable bean burger in a whole meal bun with baby potatoes, carrots, peas, and sweetcorn, that would give you plenty of protein...

    Never had this problem myself, and I've been vegan for about 7 years :) But yes you could try Iodine, my dog had an iodine deficiency and had a little hair loss, I gave her a seaweed mix and after a couple of weeks her coat improved and hair starting growing back. SO you could try seaweed tablets!

    Stir frys are one of my favourite ways, also just boiled with gravy :D Drizzling a little soy sauce and tiny bit of oil and popping them in them oven is another tasty alternative!
