Stretching Your Dollar: How to Save While Going Vegan

I have been very very limited on spending capacity. Fortunately produce, which is more affordable than very many things, is healthy. I was getting produce I like, and that persists, along with very cheap items I could get to have with it. I now have some more quality stuff but still mostly...

    The Everything Non-Dairy Thread

I get nondairy milks, and have gone through several ones. I am settling now with rice milk just for it being the only one I have come to that is fortified with vitamin B12. I don't generally have something otherwise in replacement for any dairy, but for rare exceptions.

Honestly, it's just been just since 2013 since I had any dairy cheese, and I only sort of remember it, as I have tried nondairy cheese since, but I had already been using hummus in things for a while before I found the nondairy cheese in the store, its taste may be what I yet recall of dairy...

Animal Advocacy The Animal Activism/Rights/Welfare thread

I remember being really young and wanting to rescue and free animals nearby that I knew were all kept captive to be used. I knew no others thinking like that, then. Now I'm much older.

Where I shop for my groceries is not a place really catering to vegan people with as many options that I know are in other places as I have seen. Still there is a large part of the milk section that is filled with the alternatives to dairy, and I know demand and supply is at work. There is only...

    The Tea & Infusion Thread.

Not thinking about it much I got the timed release vitamin supplement. When I opened it, there were supplement pills at the bottom with almost the whole bottle empty. I thought it was a flaw and waited without taking any until I managed to go to that store again. I said I would exchange it, but...

    The Tea & Infusion Thread.

I got the B12 supplements now, I already had my jasmine green tea again, earlier, with ginger, and agave nectar, and I just finished the bag of Impossible sausage patties I had got which were fortified with that vitamin too.

It is still a temporary situation, I will yet get the supplements. But it is good to have the fortified stuff on hand, I'm sure.

Thanks for that suggestion. I am going to go all out and get anything I can for getting vitamin B12 enough. It might have been inadequate so far. And I get certain plant milks anyway, and use some amount of them for oatmeal, or cereals like raisin bran, besides for having with coffee, or even...

    Is vegan dating possible?

Vegan dating is possible, especially so when you are younger. The older you are the more drastically it is less possible.

    The Tea & Infusion Thread.

Tea time unfortunately sort of stopped for me, due to the unfortunate situation of running out of my vitamins, C and B12, and I am too short on money to load up on more of those supplements now. So I and getting fruits and veggies with significant amount of vitamin C. But I have not found enough...

    The Tea & Infusion Thread.

I actually don't drink the tea, or otherwise coffee when it is that, so late as when day breaks. I wake up when it is still night, and I always awake for awhile before I can sleep some more. It is so regular and I would like warming up with something then, so quite some time ago it was easier to...

    The Tea & Infusion Thread.

I really like having my teatime with jasmine green tea with agave nectar and ginger, along with a bit from the vegan protein cookie I can get. I started having it in place of coffee, I want only one of those for each night and day cycle, but I seem to never have gotten past coffee and there has...

It is a sure thing, dairy is in decline as more people keep going over to nondairy milks without animal products. And why not? I was never missing dairy milk. And I found hummus soon enough and did not miss cheese after all when was using that in food.

UK Brexit - should the UK leave the EU?

The UK actually joined in agreements with others in the CANZUK association, it is not as profitable though to the UK as staying with the European Union would have been. It hits harder on lower class and struggling people there, while fine for the rich, and it probably worsens things for some...

    Kitchen Contamination

It is a hard lesson and I sympathize. Plant-based shown is not quite good enough for certainty, and unless what packaged item shows it is vegan certified, I would look carefully over the ingredients. It really is a relief to me to get most of what I eat from the produce section in the store...

    Kitchen Contamination

I reduced trouble from that with making my meals in my own place, and more certainty that I just eat what comes from plants buying almost all I use as whole foods.

    Vegans Killing Animals

I eat just food from plants and have for years, so I would count as vegan choosing to not have things taken from animals knowing there is something wrong with that. But there are animals I kill, I don't think there are those who can avoid that. I know mosquitoes, and bedbugs, and roaches, are...
