    Pots and Pans

There are so many credible resources out there to help you know what to look at when thinking of pots and pans. I use calphalon hard anodized pots and pans, and have been very pleased. They include a little booklet with hints on cooking, seasoning the pans, etc. I had been using stainless, but...

What would you do if you have a million dollars?

Personally, I think a million is enough to retire on, but only because I don't have to support any kids or anything, and because I don't have expensive tastes, and because I'm really, really good with money. Most people can't believe I live on the income I do. After paying the taxes off, I'd...

Some people think that veganism is a health choice?

My order of reasoning is health Ethics environment. From my perspective, media distorts the truth once again by focusing on Animal and environmental concern. This is absolutely valid, but it does not show how the over-processed, genetically modified, antibiotic tainted, and toxic chemicals...

    giving things up

I also had the same problem, not knowing what to take and what not to take. The healthiest diet is a whole foods plant-based diet. That means nothing processed, nothing out of a box. You need a wide variety of foods from each of these groups: Fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, grains, legumes...

    Alternatives to butter?

The Soy Garden buttery tasting spread is what I use. I can't even remember the difference between it and butter. I also took a couple of samples to work for friends that were looking for butter substitutes; both liked it as well.

    Losing weight

You will probably lose weight a little fast at first, but then slow. I only lost 5 pounds when i want vegan. And i ate healthy before that. It is true for some people, not all people though. It really depends on how you are eating now. Losing weight quickly is not healthy.

OSes Windows 10: Free upgrade for Win 7 & 8 users

I can't think of one Pro. My computer guru who charges $100 an hour said that he is making money hand over first uninstalling Win 10 for customers who hate it. I don't have win 10 but there is a lot of people on here complaining about it and asking how to change it back

Vegan How to Cook Brown Rice

One thing I don't like about brown rice is that it can be really gritty and firm, even if I add more water or cook it longer than recommended. I somehow image black rice to be worse. So how does it compare?

    Rice Milk

I drink soy, but also use rice milk in baking. Rice milk, for me, is a little to sweet to drink, although, when my sons were weaned the doctor recommended they have rice milk until older, and then try them on soy. Both taste good, I'm not sure which one is healthier though.

    Nutrition & Diet Vitamin B12 - Recommended Dosage ?

It's ironic that people think only vegans need it... If you think you're getting it from meat, chances are you're wrong. Factory farmed animals are not fed fresh grass. And B12 comes from the soil.
