20 Relocation Hot Spots in the UK

19 of the 20 towns are situated in the South. I would agree with the towns that are in Kent, Surrey, Bucks and Oxfordshire. I was amazed with the choice of Banbury which to my mind isn't an appealing town:

Haha, lots of mine and my fiances family live in these places, we moved away from them up north and couldn't be happier.

The places I recognise are nice places though, pretty, really middle class, nice shops. Plus people moving out of London are much more likely to stay in the south, closer to family and London itself. Living within an hour or so of London is great, you get the benefit of all the shops, museums and delicious vegetarian restaurants! But I prefer quieter, less tourist-y, cheaper house prices and proper rural spaces (rather than "rural" villages full of commuting Londoners... ) places in the north... but when we were thinking of moving down south lots of these places came up.
