A freedom I want:
Nudity:Humans are a very sexy species, and should not be ashamed of our bodies.

A freedom I'd get rid of:
The right to vote:The third party candidates I vote for have no chance at winning(voting for the lesser of the evils doesn't appeal to me), and the election results may be rigged just as much as any pro wrestling match. It's one freedom I could do without.

One freedom I want: The freedom to use "the seven words you can never say on television" on television. Specifically, the 4 broadcast networks. Really, this is silly. They're just words. You won't die and go to the bad place if you hear the F-word spoken on Modern Family.

One freedom I'd get rid of: The freedom to buy, sell and own guns. This is not the Old West and you ain't Gary Cooper. It's really that simple. Fewer guns = fewer deaths.

I understand where you are coming from but is this a freedom you currently exercise or is it more of a giving up of other peeps freedoms?

Do we apply the same rules to alcohol and cigarettes since they cause problems as well?

Also: If you take away my right to vote, I might have to rethink my stance on guns.
I was thinking more about myself rather than the average citizen. If you want to vote for a government that has contempt for its own citizens, you should have that right.

Do you fear that day is on the horizon? (Taking away the guns).

I fear that we aren't even close to getting a modest, sensible proposal of restrictions in place.
I don't fear it personally, not owning or wanting a gun, but I expect to see it in my lifetime, unfortunately, along with the loss of other freedoms I have always taken for granted.

I'll bet you everything either of us owns that you are completely wrong.

Ok I will take that bet. And hope that I lose. I don't have much stuff or money anyway. :D

Guns and bullets galore will continue to be as accessible as condoms, tic-tacs and spray tanner. However, if the government does decide to take away all the guns - I will save you both a case of canned peaches in my zombie-proof bunker. That will be the safest place during the revolution.

It's a deal.
