This article is very disturbing. They make a very good point: Why do people care so much about dogs in hot vehicles, but don't seem to care about farmed animals in the same situation? I mean, every year people call 911 regarding dogs in hot vehicles, but what about the poor farmed animals on their way to slaughter? Who cares about their welfare and well-being?
All I can say is thank god for the Internet. These stories are no longer kept as secrets. More and more animal rights activists are speaking out every day, putting the truth out all over the Internet. It's not enough, but at least factory farms can no longer hide in the shadows.
