  1. Vegan newbie
I was trying to check the ingredients and search up the product. All I see is that it is Kosher, top 8 allergen free, gluten-free, vegetarian, etc. Does anyone know if these are safe to continue consuming? I've loved these mints for so long.

I recognized Red Bird as the puffy mints! I loved those!
The suspect is the cane sugar. Organic, Cane juice, and beet sugar are always vegan, but regular cane sugar has about a 50/50 chance of filtered through bone char (in US at least) I thought maybe Kosher would exclude it, but it doesn't.
I didn't know they made a cotton candy flavor :fp:
Red 40 is vegan

Personally, when it comes to things I rarely have I don't always get concerned with the sugar. I think cane sugar has different properties making it best for candies.
I did email the company

Well look at this email, sent a day after my request---

Thank you for reaching out!
We purchase our sugar through a company called United Sugar. Their statement is below:

“According to their statement, United Sugar does not use bone char to filter their sugar; they claim to not use any animal by-products in their manufacturing process, and all their facilities are Kosher certified as par eve, which means they are free from bone char and other animal derivatives.”

We cannot tell you that we are a certified vegan company until all of our certifications are approved through the FDA which we are in the process now. Just waiting…They are testing our mints.

I'll be buying these, mostly for such great customer service, and being accommodating for so many different needs!
