I took my bicycle out for a ride yesterday, for the first time in quite a while, to go to town and get some groceries. There was a lot of headwind on the way there, so despite it being mostly downhill it was a bit of work, and it doesn't help that the bicycle is old and the gears make funny noises and don't work properly. I took a different route back and went at a slower pace since it was uphill and I had a backpack full of groceries. That was quite enjoyable actually. When I got home I wan't all that tired like I had thought. I suppose that meant I should have gone at a faster pace. Oh well

 

I too love the freedom of cycling, not having to sell my kidneys for a bus ticket, waiting forever for that stupid bus etc.
