Bill Clinton and Don Tyson

I'm not a Democrat, but Bill Clinton signed a lot of awful **** in to law while he was president. Mr. Clinton has been a much better person post-presidency.

Why would you assume that Democrats generally care more about animals than Republicans do, or vice versa?

Animal rights and animal welfare are not particularly high on the list of priorities of any political party, although getting animal welfare legislation passed is easier in a Democratic environment, since Republicans tend to be more "ZOMG, the government is trying to tell me what to do!!!", even when they happen to be personally animal-friendly.

I'm assuming you're asking me this question, but I don't recall implying that they care more. This board is dominated by Democrats, so I figured I'd ask. Tyson is one of the worst people that has ever lived. If I was a Democrat, a Democratic President being among his closest friends would scare me.

Clinton remained close friends with Tyson until his death. Going vegetarian is a big plus, but in many ways I don't think he's changed.

I wouldn't say that Tyson is one of the worst people that has ever lived. If I were to hazard a guess, probably half the humans alive right now (actually, probably a considerably higher percentage than that) would do exactly as he did if they could have his financial success by doing so.
