I would say if you're looking to buy one I'd look for an alternative watch strap or watch, if you can avoid leather why not? There's a lot of other alternatives out there for watches/straps. It's not like you're buying something that's impossible to source without using an animal product.
Thank you for your answers. I will and do definitely avoid buying it, I use fabric or metal straps on my other watches but most watches come paired with leather straps. Is it best to just not buy them?
