Yeah, I am less than two hours from the border also. I know of some unpatrolled areas in the BWCA that lead into Canada and have stepped foot on Canadian soil from them. But it requires some serious paddling and hiking. Then of course, explain yourself once you get into Canada to stay, owning nothing more than a canoe pack and a canoe.
Apparently, the Canadian-immigration website crashed SEVERAL times yesterday. I'm not the only one desperately scrambling to get out. Sadly, I have neither the means or the money to do so. I am trapped.
