The picture says it all ... on local municipality building in Växjö, Sweden on Thursday. Police and the authorities were perplexed until a local activist group claimed responsibilty - an art project they called it to raise awareness of how animals are treated. Several workers felt uncomfortable about it and the Police were called to take it down. Just in time for Easter of course ...

That is a brilliant image created there. It's difficult to find such a clear way to force people to face their truth. Art can lead the way in change, whether it be through music, film, or a chicken, a chicken, a chicken. [emoji214] [emoji214] [emoji214]

I just hope they didn't use actual chicken bodies for this. Or at least, I hope they used chicken bodies that had been deemed unfit for consumption and were going to be thrown out anyway- then at least no additional chickens were killed, and hopefully some good came of it.

It looks like someone brought 2 oven-ready chickens from the local supermarket, but the feathered hen ... I don't know. I've not been able to track down the "group" that did it. Maybe floating around Facebook or some other social media site but not a well known animal rights group in Sweden.
