I'm not thinking if decorating any time soon, but I was thinking about paint (after another post mentioned nail varnish...you see the thought process?).
We would like to use paint on our nails that has not been tested on animals and contains no animal products...but what about the paint on our walks? And the brushes used to put it there?
Do you use/know of suitable options? Xxx

You can buy synthetic paint brushes and I think a vegan friendly paint company is Farrow & Ball. I think I found the information when I was decorating a few years ago on The Vegan Forum so maybe go over there and do a search.:)

If you're planning on painting walls and a ceiling, you should use a paint roller. They are made of plastic or wood and the roller nap is made of either latex or foam.

 They even have tiny rollers you can do a good bit of trim painting with, and foam rubber daubers with plastic or wooden handles work like brushes for trim. :)

Oh I have a good collection of synthetic paint brushes. They are more costly, but I hate those foam pads. They don't last and don't do as nice a job. I also have a good set of synthetic artists' brushes. It's not as hard to find brushes as it is to find paints and solvents that are not animal tested.
