My husband is full blown diabetic, he is opened to getting brand new ideas for snacks , frozen ice cream bars, chocolates and other snacks.
He is not vegan but he liked some vegan stuff.
If you have any favorites let me know.

Poorly-managed diabetes is a long journey of progressive disability. Please urge him to see a physician, and have that physician refer him to a Registered Dietitian.

First off please get yourself a copy of Reversing Diabetes by Neal Barnard. Barnard is a very well respected spokesperson for plant based healthy diets.

I know quite a few non-vegan diabetics. From what I have gleaned from them is that snacking is good for diabetic management - but portion control is vital.

I think I remember that snacks need to be under 150 calories, and 30 g of carbs. So you could eat almost anything as long as it was under 100 calories. Bananas and apples are both right around 100. Come to think of it - my buddies always ate just half a banana or apple at a time.

Hey I found this for you
