Farm animal welfare could get even worse

Just heard via a 38degrees petition that factory farm bosses would be put in charge of monitoring how well they treat their livestock. Not good news for the animals.

Happily, it seems our protesting has made the Government rethink it's plans and they have changed their minds in the face of such oppostion. Mind you, the way they are treated under the so-called care of the RSPCA is still not well enough. Viva are constantly monitoring what is going on and even in RSPCA approved farms the treatment of the animals is intolerable.
