This story just makes me weep. I love that man! The kitten unfortunately succumbed to its injuries, but Cory's efforts will never be forgotten. He opened many eyes, I am certain.

My vegan son is considering becoming a firefighter, and he and I were just discussing how the food situation would be at the firehouse. I saw a news story awhile back about a firehouse that went veg because one of the guys got some scary lab results back. They all got healthier and were happy with the food.

I read that before. Seems like it could go either way with a small tight-knit group like that, they could be super traditional or progressive.
