Hello all,

My name is Narahari and i've recently decided to become a vegan. Now i'm 34 years and i stopped eating meat when I was 17, i never liked it. For many years i was a vegetarian and then turned vegan but some years ago i was traveling in Indonesia and got offered some fish which i felt at the time like accepting. Then eating fish became a regular habit. In the beginning of this year my girlfriend and i arrived to a vegan permaculture project in India where i got a lot of information and became inspired to became a vegan again. Now my girlfriend and i would like to start our own vegan restaurant in Malmo in Sweden. We both like food and i have a passion about health. We practice Vipassana meditation and yoga. Also we do Thai massage. If there are any people from Malmo here i would like to hear from you for some information about the subjects I'm interested about. Thank you :)

Welcome! Sounds like you've had some travelling adventures - would love to hear more about that.

Afraid we don't have a large Swedish contingent here yet.

Welcome to the forum.
I am going to Malmo in Sweden in about 10 days time! What a small world. It's my first trip. Perhaps you could make a recommendation to me about where the best place to eat is for vegans?
It looks like you have several vegan eating places there already... you must really have a lot of conscious people living in that area... awesome.

Hello Narahari (I really like your name)

Welcome to VV. I've been to Sweden a few times, but never to Malmo. I remember the food was amazing, but quite meat or fish-based.

Best of luck with your restaurant!

That's really brave - setting a place up in a town you've never visited. I've just returned and it is brimming with awesome places to eat vegan food. You'll have fun.
