    Hey guys!!:p
I did my best to research the internet but I didn’t find a sufficient answer. Could somebody please take the time to explain to me How rice/pasta/bread is good for you on a vegan diet? When it is presented as bad to a “balanced food” diet?
    Thank you!

They could all be a part of a healthy diet, though they are also a part of many people's unhealthy diets.

Obviously whole grain pasta and brown rice are healthier than the alternatives. The nutrition of bread varies widely....like, really really widely. Even the healthiest stuff usually has too much sodium to be a big part of an optimal diet.

I think a root vegetable like sweet potatoes would be closer to the healthiest possible carb source.
