I have never seen a Happy Potter Movie and every time I try to watch Serenity I fall asleep within 15-20 minutes.

The first part you should totally rectify! The HP books were really, really good and the movies lived up to them astonishingly well, unlike most novel adaptations.

As for Serenity, it actually seemed more exciting to me than Firefly. Don't get me wrong, I love them both very much, it just seemed like their attempt to reach a larger audience made the movie more action-ish and gave it more of a typical sci-fi feel.

I seriously recommend going back and watching Firefly. Serenity is good as a work on its own but there's so much content there that can't be conveyed in a movie.

Me too. Sorta like how I'm going to end up having to go to the "second" movie in 3D when it comes out in the theater.

I saw Taken 2 and am about to watch The Hunger Games. I'm not really looking forward to it but I will give it a try.

The Hunger Games movie was pretty good. Nowhere near as good as the book, but they did a decent job with it in my opinion. Quite a bit of it was needlessly oversimplified though...

A part of me wants to see Taken 2 , but another part of me knows I'll be disappointed because there's no way it could live up to the awesomeness of the first one. Plus I don't see the need for a sequel. Taken was one of those movies that should've just been left alone.

I started to watch Taken 2 but didn't really get into it so I only half paid attention to the rest. It was just ok.

I, too, have no interest in the Hunger Games.

Watched Shutter Island again a couple of days ago. Love that film, Scorcese with his goofy fan boy hat on going ' I'm going to be Hitchcock and it'll be SO MUCH FUN!'

It was basically the same as Taken, but with a twist. It was watchable but not as good as the first. The Hunger Games is actually good, well I haven't watched the end yet as I was too tired last night but I was impressed. I haven't read the book so I can't compare it and it is the same story as Battle Royale though, not that I have seen that either but people have told me about it.

Watched Midnight in Paris. Very, VERY cheesey but I was charmed by it.

I'm taping Don't Look Now tonight as I haven't seen it before, despite it being a classic. I think I read the screenplay (?) years ago in a library so I already know the basic storyline.

I am looking forward to seeing Welcome to the Punch (a British thriller). The review I saw on TV wasn't amazing but it has a lot of good British actors involved so I will see it.

ETA - I have downloaded Red Lights, California Solo and Bridesmaids to watch.

Don't Look Now was very atmospheric and menacing although I thought the sex scene was yucky for some reason and I had to fast forward that part. I was tempted to cover my eyes at the last bit even though I knew what was going to happen.
