Watched the end of Project Nim last night. So sad :(

Lessons learned: don't let hippies or evil people do science :(

On Saturday night we watched Dredd which was ultra violent in places but was actually watchable.
Last night I saw Hope Springs and that was a very sweet film. I was crying at the end. I think Tommy Lee Jones is hot.:weird:

I'm going to watch Drive one day this week.

Bunnyman. I usually avoid these types of movies, can't afford to lose the brain cells. But, after watching Donnie Darko, I just couldn't turn down a movie with a killer in a bunny suit.

Being sick must put me in a British distopian mindset. I just watched V for Vendetta and Children of Men back-to-back. And this browser doesn't like "distopian" and wants to substitute "pianist" for it.

Just saw a trailer for another remake of Carrie. Also The Evil Dead remake which looks a lot different from the original from what I remember of it anyways (it's been awhile).

ED remake is darker and less comical, I heard. Bf and i may go see it on Friday night or sometime very soon.

I can't bring myself to watch the Evil Dead remake. The original is a classic and I don't want it ruined by a lot of over the top special effects. I didn't watch the Halloween remake (which I heard was awful) and never will. I did watch the American remake of Let the right one in and I'm sorry I did. It really was terrible and added extra gore in place of the innocence (for lack of a better word) of their friendship.

Yep that's how it appears form all the trailers. If you see it let us know what you think.

I don't blame you. I'm still ****** about the remaking of Dark Shadows. It's so completely different from the original series.

The cheesey special effects were part of what made the original Evil Dead so great.

Watched Push last night. It was weird, really high budget but ridiculous nonsensical plot. Also couldn't stop laughing for the floating gun scene. Dakota Fanning was great in it.

A really crap film, well made :p
