The mrs and I went to see the Star Trek show, enjoyed it (we're both long time Star Trek nerds)... such fertile ground for extracurricular activities. I haven't convinced her the green dye is a good idea though.
I just finally got around to watching the first of the Star Trek reboot (2009) and I loved it. I wasn't expecting to be dazzled because I love TOS so much but the way they worked it in as an alternate universe (LEONARD NIMOY!) was astounding.
OH MY GOD THEY DID THE THING WITH KIRK AND SPOCK! Except in reverse! KHAAAANNNN! AAAH! TRIBBLE! Leonard Nimoy again! Benedict was awesome in his role. Skull crushing was creepy, gross, and well-fit for Khan. The Enterprise being harmed or in danger always makes me incredibly anxious.
Just watched For the Bible Tells Me So. Good documentary to watch with a friend or family member who uses the Bible to defend his or her wrong-sidedness.
The Bay. It is very scary and kind of gross movie about chicken farm's poop infecting the bay and causing this huge parasitic outbreak thing. Low budget, but very cool. It is a cam movie, but not the dumb shaky cam. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1713476/
