I don't really understand that expression.... though the expression is sicker than a dog.... I wish I could eat some grass, throw up, and feel better.

I have a head ache, a fever, chills, body aches, a cough, a sore throat, a lack of energy, no appetite, and an inability to read or watch TV for very long (head ache and blurry vision).

Everyone in my household has this.

I have been sleeping for days. The only reason I get up is to cook meals for everyone else -that often they don't get up to eat.

This sucks.

 I hope you feel better soon.

My Grandmother used to use that expression but I haven't heard it in years. ETA she used to say sick as a dog.

Sounds awful. This has been a terrible season...so many people have been really sick with flu or flu-like symptoms. I hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself.

Sorry, Dropkick. It sounds like influenza symptoms. :( My daughter's doc advised alternating ibuprofen and tylenol and cough medicine when she had the flu this year. And of course fluids and rest. Hope you all feel better soon.

Definitely sounds like flu. You need plenty of sleep and fluids. I hope that you'll feel better soon as it normally last a week.

Pretty much down to just a cough now.
I still don't have much energy.
Really happy that I can read again (even though I keep falling asleep while doing it).

Don't try and do too much too soon. Continue to rest when you can if you feel the need. Glad you are on the mend. :)
