HOCKEY. All there is is hockey with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup finals today. 
I played soccer as a kid though.

I like watching it sometimes. Sometimes it really is the beautiful game, but often I find it a bit boring.
Women's World Cup going on atm, in Canada.

I prefer watching tennis over any other sport. I used to watch football at uni as one of my friends was a big fan but I find it quite boring to watch now.

I know. Love it! I hope the weather is good. I love to watch tennis with wine and some strawberries.
I wish Americans kept the name the same way others have it. I may be the only American here who watches it, but I'm looking forward to watching games in the future. Male or female, I watch it when I can. I don't know the players very well though.

I have learned more about soccer/football over the last few years so that I have a mild interest in it. But I hardly know the ins and outs of all the leagues and what-not. One of my work colleagues is taking her kids to the women's World Cup and is catching a couple of matches. I wouldn't mind going to game in person. I think it would be more exciting that way. I do love that there are no commercials except at halftime, at least that's how it's been during the matches I have watched on TV.
