Some people are disconnected

Sometimes it shocks me, i don't know why, i know it shouldn't, but it just does sometimes.

To listen to things some people say, especially when they are in a sort of vegan environment/community just leaves me shocked and speechless sometimes.

Could you elborate on the situation? What is being said that makes you feel that others are disconnected from the Vegan message?
