This is all over the news, but here is a couple of quotes with links:
Rioters have lit fires and stoned emergency services in the suburbs of Stockholm for the third night in a row after a man was shot dead by police.
"We have groups of young men who think that that they can and should change society with violence. Let's be clear: this is not okay. We cannot be ruled by violence."

More than 80% of Husby's 12,000 or so inhabitants are from an immigrant background, and most are from Turkey, the Middle East and Somalia.

STOCKHOLM, May 22 (Reuters) - Hundreds of youths have set fire to cars and attacked police and rescue services in poor immigrant suburbs in three nights of rioting in Stockholm, Sweden's worst disorder in years.

On Tuesday night, a police station in the Jakobsberg area in the northwest of the city was attacked, two schools were damaged and an arts and crafts centre was set ablaze, despite a call for calm from Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt.

The riots in one of Europe's richest capitals have shocked a country that prides itself on a reputation for social justice, and fuelled a debate about how Sweden is coping with both youth unemployment and an influx of immigrants.

Edit: According to Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten (citing Expressen) the riots are coordinated through a Facebook group.

I'm reading that the riots are still ongoing, for the 6th night in a row, and have spread to other cities as well.

Right-winger have started vigilante groups several places, and are patrolling the streets.

So scary. Is there a nighttime curfew? That sometimes helps defuse these things. :(
I don't think they have a curfew, or at least haven't seen it mentioned.

Last night saw more violence and destruction, with cars on fire and other incidents of arson, a man being attacked by a group of youths and brutally beaten with a hammer, football hooligan violence in a pub (not sure if that was related to the riots), multiple arrests, vigilante groups still on the streets, and continued problems in other cities. The police reports that the Stockholm riot was quieter than previous nights though, presumably the many arrests have helped.
