An interesting experiment, and presumably a huge leap forward for an emerging technology!

That said, it sounds like actual teleportation is a few years off still ... A photon is a very small object with a very small mass, after all. (They're in fact traditionally said to be massless, though they have energy, and energy is mass, as Einstein showed in his famous formula.)

Yeah, don't get too excited yet, though this is certainly brilliant.

It has more of a place in communications tech than any sort of physical teleportation. Quantum entanglement shows promise for actually creating some type of ansible tech.

Well, I wouldn't sell this too short too soon either. Considering the exponentially fast rate at which technology has advanced (even just since I've been alive), I definitely plan to check up on this topic once in a while, just to stay posted on progress....
