Tyson Foods announced that it will be closing its doors on the Emporia, Kansas plant after other facility closures since 2023.

On Monday, the food processing company announced that it would close its Emporia, Kansas facility in February 2025.
The Kansas plant's impending closure comes after a string of shuttered Tyson facilities in recent years.
In 2023, Tyson Foods announced closures of plants in Indiana, Virginia, two in Arkansas and two in Missouri.
