It says it works best with US only products. I downloaded it to play with t a few days ago (seen it on FB) but I wouldn't trust it. I would still always read the ingredients.
Love the review on Play store - "It told me my Quaker Oats were a helicopter toy!".
I downloaded it anyway and tried it on some American gum I have. It's a bit pants, it tells me which ingredients are veg and which ones "may not" be vegetarian (gylcerol).... how does that help? I can use my own eyeballs to do that. I want an app that knows which products are vegan and which aren't and tells me "The gylcerol in this product is vegan" for example. The only time I look up products online is when they have questionable ingredients and the app wouldn't help with that. Its a good idea in theory but doesnt do what I'd need.
I just tried it. It's fun and all and I think it would have some use, but it is annoying that it often says its not sure of a particular item. At least it raises a red flag and prompts further investigation.
