The ceremony will be offering a special vegan menu for those who would prefer to avoid butter, cream, cheese, eggs and meat on the big night.

Vegan attendees will be offered a plant-based menu, featuring a "quinoa salad with radishes, broad beans, asparagus, peas and a lemon and olive oil dressing", as well as a "roasted butternut squash and sun-blushed tomato lasagne with wilted spinach, roasted pepper and sage".

Sounded a bit plain for a posh event like that! Glad to hear they were featuring the trusty broad bean, though.

Hmm, sounds pretty good to me. :D
I'll take the lasagna and the squash, please...:)

Well, that's awesome!

Sounds nice, although "Wilted" spinach would maybe not be my first guess when describing an exciting dish.

Sounds wrong but with a dish like lasagne it would work very very right

You'd want the more tender salad quality spinach rather than the tough old 'needs the bejasus boiled out of it to be edible' kind, mind.
