Continuing the series of my depression videos, here the final - depression of ethical vegans which arises from living in a non-vegan world and witnessing products of animal suffering every day.

Definition of Vystopia by psychologist Clare Mann:

- Existential crisis experienced by vegans, arising out of an awareness of the trance-like collusion with a dystopian world.
- Awareness of the greed, ubiquitous animal exploitation, and speciesism in a modern dystopia.

It reminded me of "You woke?" video by BBC Comedy - there is always some truth in comedy.

Vystopia, on the other hand, is something I hear for the first time

Thank you for the video. The concept of Vystopia is new to me also. I am currently reading the book. Never before has a book so clearly, simply and kindly explained how I feel. I recommend it highly!

I sort of feel like I had Vystopia before I even became vegan....if that makes any sense

Well, do you mean you felt that way about animal suffering even though you ate meat?

Or you felt that way about other things, other injustices in the world.
