A bit of what sounds like good news today:
Welcome to North Macedonia: parliament votes for name change (20. Oct. 2018)
The current official name is "The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" or something like that, which in addition to sounding a bit daft is not accepted by Greece because it sounds too much like 'Macedonia' which is a name they feel they have ownership of, which is why they've blocked the country from entering into the EU and NATO.
More:Macedonia’s parliament has voted to start the process of renaming the country North Macedonia, a major step towards ending a decades-long stalemate with Greece and opening a door to NATO and the EU.
