Rolling of the eyes, hands on the hips and sighing when you tell them to wear something more appropriate to school and don't forget a sweater because it's cold outside.
 
Trying to reason with them when they want to go/do something that is dangerous/inappropriate.
 
X-Men comic books graphic novels and merchandise piling up everywhere in the bedroom which the parents aren't allowed to touch, ever.

Yes, folks, I had to retrieve my valuable collection of Mad magazines from the trash because my mother just didn't understand why I kept them all. :pout:
