I love orangutans.
One doctor I work with performed a successful cesearean section on a zoo orangutan. (The mom couldn't deliver the baby on her own.)
I and another lactation consultant were called in to help her nurse her newborn (mother was captive bred so had no way to learn or observe), but she figured it out pretty much on hee own.
Not a fan of zoos or breeding captive orangs, but oh, there is nothing cuter than an oranutan baby!!
