CA Canadian federal election 2019

[Second Summer]

Apparently, there is an election in Canada today! I only heard about it on the radio, there's been nothing in the TV news or my go-to online news sites.

I have no idea what the result might look like, but we won't know until tomorrow, I suppose. Maybe there will be a coalition government?

Ah, the results are in (mostly) and it looks like it's going to be a minority government with Trudeau's Liberal party:

I'm not sure why they don't go for a coalition government with the social democrats? I guess the parties must have ruled out that option already.
