City in MA bans profanity

I think it's tacky and rude to swear in public, but banning it is absurd.

Seriously though, I don't like it. I also don't like it when people swear excessively, but that doesn't mean there has to be a law against it.

I like how in the U.S. speaking the colloquial term for the physical act that makes families possible is considered profanity but it's considered good parenting to take them to hear some guy scare them with the idea of Hell on Sundays.
