Pigeons are very resistant to bird flu. Even during the outbreak in the Sussex region, it was only gulls that carried the virus. I know a few rehabbers who board them in their own homes, and they have never caught one single virus/germ/illness from them. My good friend Justin, even lets them bathe in his tub.
