Heinz Ketchup - US vs UK

That's unfortunate for you people in the US. I've eaten a lot of Heinz ketchup here in the UK, it's very nice!

I wish high fructose corn syrup wasn't nearly as common as it is :(

I’ve tried “natural” ketchups that leave out some, if not all ingredients used in Heinz, but they taste bland or sour or boring to me, possibly because I’ve been conditioned to prefer the highly sweetened Heinz. In Meadowbrook ASL, to save money, the kitchen switched from Heinz to the generic version produced by the food service company they were using. Honestly, I couldn’t tell much of a difference, but enough people, elderly people who, like me, grew up with Heinz, complained that they brought back the Heinz. The generic had pretty much the same ingredients as the Heinz.

Simply Heinz in the US sounds like Heinz in the UK!
Growing up we always had Heinz, no one used much, but it was always in the fridge. I later thought about how strange that was since my grandma bought so much generic or what was on sale, but always heinz. I tried Hunts and found why! I did not like other ketchups!
Now buy Aldi organic ketchup. It's thick and very flavorful. Uses sugar- no other sweetener
