Hey, gamers! Whatcha playin'?

Ahhh, encouraging budding psychopaths everywhere. :p What game is that?? Yikes. LOL
a game about choices.
do you want to save everyone (pacifist), or kill everyone? (genocide)
two of my friends played Undertale, and told me that they couldn't do genocide because they have a conscious.
This guy is not encouraging you to kill, it's the opposite. He wants you to do the right thing.

There's also neutral, where you don't kill everyone, but you do kill. I hate this option the most. :|
This game likes to make you believe that you need to kill some people. Even though some people want to do pacifist, they believe they have to kill in order to progress in the game. :fp: Even if you constantly remind them that you don't have to kill anyone.

Now I'm kinda missing the days when I had my Atari 800 computer, with Zork, a version of Berserk, and Star Raiders... but not really. I spent too much time on them. I did like Zork though... all text, no shooting, but it really sucked me in. I remember the time I asked the game to tell me my level of health because the game seemed to have turned strange and I couldn't figure out what was going on, and it told me I was dead. I got a sudden chill up my spine... Figuring out the ritual to resurrect yourself or going to the gates of Hell, banishing some demons, and getting one of the treasures was lots of fun, too! But you really had to use your imagination to solve some of the puzzles and find some of the treasures. That game could be amazingly devious.

Zork!! :D Classic! Also a favorite of the Big Bang gang & The Martian's Johanssen.... LOL

Mark Watney: I figured one of you guys kept an ASCII table lying around. And I was right. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you super-nerd Beth Johanssen, who also had copies of "Zork II" and "Leather Goddesses of Phobos" on her personal laptop. Seriously, Johanssen... it's like the Smithsonian of loneliness on there.

I just don't understand how everyone can be forgiven in Undertale, except for you if you do genocide.
Their king did some horrible things.
He killed 6 children and wanted revenge on humanity

Now I'm playing Dark Souls. The second game, specifically.
I thought the first game was too hard. I'm glad they changed it, made it easier. Hopefully then I can go back to the first game and complete it. I am looking more forward to the third game than the first. You can get it from Humble Bundle for $12 until July. It's a monthly subscription thing, but you can cancel it at any time and keep the game. Humble Monthly Bundle
It is a challenging game, especially if you do it solo. I like to co-op it. I chose to be a swordsman with dual wielding katanas.

If anyone is interested in co-oping Dark Souls 2, I'd be up for it. Or maybe have some death matches. :)

I downloaded two demos, both "Collector's Editions" so they're 90 minutes instead of 60... although, I usually finish them in 40. Downloaded Bridge to Another World: Escape from Oz and Haunted Hotel: Personal Nightmare.

"New" stuff, but same old same old, I'm sure.... Oh, well... somethin' to do while I eat.... ;)

I've been playing Quake Champions closed beta weekends... Fun! It's looking really good. Really cool that the Quake series is being revived :)

Had to make a new character when I switched to the upgraded version with dlc. I spent more time creating her.
Kinda bummed about the third game, because everyone is saying dual wielding isn't as good. They got rid of the power stance. I think I'm too stubborn to play any other way. We'll see when I finally get the third game, there's supposed to be a steam sale soon.

New games of 2017 | PC Gamer -- (broken down by category)

Right now I'm looking for new FREE online point-and-click detective-style adventure games, not platform, not MMORPG, not action or FPS.... I keep seeing the same ol' same ol'.... I haven't come across anything that piques my interest that I haven't played before. LOL :pout: I'll keep at it....

Ahh, I think I might be able to find a couple suggestions here: Rock, Paper, Shotgun - PC Game Reviews, Previews, Subjectivity |

Some of these look cool, too: #ResistJam - itch.io

What kind of games do you have for steam?
Barely any. Two, actually (Comedy Quest, a very retro Sierra-esque game & the demo for Virginia, which I'd never heard of... looks intriguing).... I only want free or demos. Casual P & C adventure games, no action, no FPS, etc.... I need to be able to walk away from a game in-progress & have everything be fine when I return. I can't stand sitting in one spot for more than 20 minutes.

Speaking of which, I've sat here far too long.... I'm off to the kitchen to make food & have a glass of wine, listen to some tunes, maybe dance a little....

I wonder if you would like Toontown Rewritten. That is free. It also might fit your interests.
Sorry, I updated while you sent that. LOL  Just the name Toontown has me intrigued, I'll look it up.... maybe not tonight, depends on how schnockered I decide to get while I make a burrito of sorts.... :D
