Whatever I'm doing, I must be doing it right. A few days ago at a meal for my city's homeless where I am one of the regular cooks, one of the repeat guests shouted out when I arrived, "Hey, the vegetarian's here! She cooks gooooood!"
Then, during the serving of the food, a man commented to my friend, "Did Skylark make that? If she did, I want some!"
Since most of the food I prepare is assembled from a wide variety of donated food (with absolutely no particular menu in mind), it helps to be able to innovate and change things up as one goes.
