Yeah... Midland, MI... one of the Tri-Cities. The "Tris" are Bay City (my home town), Saginaw, & Midland (about 15-20 minutes away).... Spent a lot of time down at the Tridge... outdoor singing gigs, just hangin', what have you....

Oh, Midland has a hot air balloon festival every year... that shot was from from last year, I think....

Many, many years ago, the monks made a stop in Bay City to do a sand painting at one of the galleries here.... I got to see it, got to hear the monks sing, got a blessing of colored sand sprinkled in my hair, and bought a cool "Free Tibet" T-shirt....
