^^^^ That's from a localish production of Little Shop I was in (2008)... I was the voice of the plant.

I had a blast doing that. Shocked quite a few folks in the audience at curtain call, though. LMAO :p

Saginaw's Pit and Balcony Community Theatre delivers a "Little Shop of Horrors" musical that is a hilarious treat

For our money after decades of reviewing plays, there's never been a one-two punch such as that delivered by puppet designer/puppeteer Jason Graham and actress/singer Caitlin Berry in Saginaw Pit and Balcony Community Theatre's "Little Shop of Horrors."

Together they create an Audrey II man-eating Venus flytrap plant which will live on in memory -- her sultry, smoky, jazzy voice demanding "feed me" and singing with a raspy vengeance from off stage; him invisible inside the gigantic plant pod with such big teeth and a menacing attitude just by the way it moves its massive head and hovers.

Together they are scary and funny all at once, delivering the thrills of a land-locked "Jaws" with the offbeat humor of "Sweeney Todd." We both giggle and recoil as Graham maneuvers the puppet to devour yet another human and Berry makes the gulping noise as the victim is swallowed. Then both smack their lips.

But enough on the genius of these two who, for the most part, act and move as one.
