If we accept evolution theory-Meat-eaters are cannibals

As I said, I wasn't aiming the word at anyone in particular. Maybe I failed to convey that well enough.
But there are certain people where the word is very apt...Westboro Baptist church folk or rabid, frothing at the mouth MAGAs, or if we take a UK perspective, people who graffiti NF /Swastikas or football hooligans...

Idiots the lot of them...at best.
I think it’s probably the parent in me, but even the football hooligans could in theory change. I in no way disagree with your opinion of them but if my targeting their behaviour rather than them themselves leaves the door open for a change of heart, I’ll do it.

Of course, I’m still pretty sanguine about the chances of that distinction making any practical difference….

Absolutely. Being an idiot does not need to be terminal.
I would say that I myself was one in my youth. Being able to drive a car at 17 was a large part of that. Looking back at the sheer stupidity of some of our groups actions makes me shudder. It might have only been an old original mini with a top speed of about 65 mph, but I could still have caused a lot of damage had any of our actions taken a bad turn...

Or, rephrased to my viewpoint, “Doing idiotic things does not need to be terminal” ;)

As for youthful driving, my hand’s gone straight up too. Guilty as charged, and amazed I survived my first year behind the wheel.

I was an idiot. :) I am more than happy to admit it. Luckily I grew out of it.
Now I get my kicks at the weekend on my motorbike (mostly legal).

Ditto for me, although with different alternative kicks. It’s a telling commentary on my advancing years and changing priorities that I catch myself looking at a car and excitedly thinking to myself “Cor, look at the storage space in that”!

In my dotage I’ve become
Inert, defunct, inane.
Oh, for the days of yesteryear;
Ert, funct and ane again.

LOL. Age.
My dream car as a 20 something was a Ferrari 365 GT4 BB or a Countach.
Now it's a top of the range Range-Rover or even a Volvo XC90
(Interspersed by a Mitsubishi-Evo or Ford Sierra or Escort Cosworth)
Couldn't afford the Ferrari or Lambo (or Mitsu or Ford), can't afford the RR.
Have a mundane but useful AWD Seat and a Triumph Motorbike.
Happy as Larry with both.

Yes. I believe there are meater trolls here.
And, eating the cadavers did NOT make our brains larger and us more intelligent. Autopsies of neanderthal-age humans showed
they had a lot of atherosclerosis as well as arthritis in their bodies. Ancient humans from other areas also showed health
problems from eating animals/saturated fats; there were no processed foods, refined carbohydrates, soda, or 'sugar' back then.
If eating cadavers made us humans intelligent, we would have lions reading books and driving cars.
