I have read in the local newspaper that hate crimes against Muslim women have increased in Barking, apparently one Muslim woman was grabbed by the throat at a bus stop. I think these cowards usually attack women as they are an easier target. Why do some people respond to this type of terrible incident with more hate?

It's an unfortunate, but highly predictable response. We'll probably see more of it, as the terror attacks are likely to continue.

The ‘Lion of London Bridge’ has been filmed spitting on a black man and ranting about ‘foreign c***s’ who ‘stink like ****’.

Roy Larner, 47, was hailed as a hero after he threw punches at the London Bridge attackers last month while shouting ‘**** you, I’m Millwall’. He was stabbed eight times, but survived the attack.
