TV & Film Movie Lounge

Finally watched "Gifted" (2017, with Chris Evans and McKenna Grace) today. I watched it in translation, because i was feeling super lazy, so making my brains work would have caused me inconvenience, haha. Surprisingly, i liked it (even sobbed at a couple moments, ğyyyyy). Lindsay Duncan was great. I think she's a beautiful woman.

Watching "Arrival" (2016, with Amy Adams) at the moment. I'm not sure i will watch it to the end right now, because it's 5a.m., and i haven't slept yet, plus, the movie is quite dull (i feel it), so i'll watch the 2nd half tomorrow.

I watched Benji.

Wasn't very realistic, but of that I'm only glad. When Benji was left behind, as a defenseless pup, I thought that "I'm going to watch god knows how long movie about a pup slowly and painfully dying?...And this is in a childrens section too!"
Well, neither George R.R. Martin nor Stephen King wrote the script and the pup somehow survived and doesn't even look like flee infested pile of matted fur and mud.
And the dog who played Benji, was such a good doggo. And wise. It was worth a watch just because of the dog.

And there were @Veganite 's profile picture too... that was weird.

I finally saw the last Star Wars movie, Star Wars the Rise of Skywalker. I liked it but made me sad that it is the end of the series. Now I want to watch all the movies in chronological order.

Which chronological order? The order they were released or the order that they take place in their universe?

i watched the Last Guard on Netflix.

At first, I thought it was stupid. but afterwards, I got to thinking about it and I may be reading too much into it but I thought that it has some good messaging.

It is a fast-paced superhero comic book-inspired movie. Lots of good action and some well-choreagraphed fight scenes. At the end, they left it open for a sequel.

Girl on the Third Floor. It was a horror film. It started off quite well but ended up very crappy.
