I finished Poor Things and found it pretty intriguing, and a great premise, but overall seemed the movie tried to deliver more than it did. It spent soooo much time on sex that it didn't leave room for everything else that it touched on, and the sex scenes weren't even erotic.
It did highlight the stereotyping of woman and men, but did so in such a stereotypical way it got diluted.
All in all it I felt too much time was spent on award winning and not nearly enough on story development. Like what was the fisheyed lens for? I surely didn't need to watch Emma Stone perform as much as she did on any part.
Also, the idea that she was a child didn't sit well, but was completely ignored
