Need device that can receive wireless router signal.

Drawing a blank here. I have a wireless router hooked up at home.

I'm giving my son an old computer and I want him to be able to connect to the Internet via the router signal from my computer. I'm looking for a device that I can plug into the old computer via a USB drive.

What is such a device called?

They are normally called 'USB WiFi dongle' or 'USB WiFi adaptor'. If you search Amazon or another retailer for those terms you'll find loads of suitable products.
