Dairy Consumption per capita in the USA continues to fall. Now at an all-time low. Dairy farmers recently dumped surplus milk.

Plant milk sales have risen 61% over the last 5 years.

Milk alternatives continue to expand. In January expect to see Quaker Oats Oat Beverage on the shelves. Sweetened, unsweetened and vanilla.

Macadamia milk, now being marketed as Milkadamia should be on some shelves already. You can already order it online. Macadamias are not that healthy of a nut. more calories per gram of protein than the others. But its very high in monounsaturated fat.

Pecan milk is showing up in markets too. Look for Malk on your grocery store shelves. Organic, cold pressed, no carrageenan, and 8 grams of protein per glass (just 100 calories too)

There is now high protein almond milks available. Look for Orgain's Organic Protein Almond Milk. Ten grams of protein. Just 80 calories.

August 22nd is the official World Plant Milk Day.
