I was just about to switch off my laptop last night but I checked reuters one last time. Absolutely sickening. Selfish f***ing cowards. There was so much conflicting information online and I was hoping what I was reading about what was happening at the music hall was incorrect.
I always think how many people will need to pick up the pieces after these types of incidents, the police, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists for the people who were wounded, psychologists for people who will have PTSD afterwards...

I just saw that there is information that the terrorists were a self-contained cell that had just returned to France from Syria.

It is just heartbreaking. So many affected. I have a feeling that France is going to react strongly to this, as they do not take these things lightly.

They have re-opened. I think that they were only closed for a few hours. Thankfully I didn't know about that as I wouldn't like to be stuck here.
Self-contained cell? Islamic State members, is what I heard. It seems obvious they must have had outside assistance in some form.

I think cell just means that they are a specific group within a whole terrorist network. If they were a cell it probably means that they all had certain skills that they could use in the attack.One of the British people who died was a merch guy for the band playing at the club. Nick Alexander also worked for a number of other bands over the years, including one of my favorites, Alice In Chains, who posted on FB about him. I probably bought a shirt or two from him over the years. So very, very sad.

Indeed. It's so heartbreaking that these were people just having a lovely night out. They weren't hurting anyone.
