'Pollocaust' - New word?

According to Google it seems that no one has ever thought of renaming the annual Chrismassacre of our feathered freinds as the 'pollocaust' before.

Nice one. Do you remember the hullabaloo when Peta dared use the word holocaust to describe the genocide of animals? They ruffled many feathers by daring to put non human animals and human animals on an equal footing.

I remember reading that the German people, in the 30s, and 40s didn't have anything against the Jews, but after all the Nazi propaganda, they were indifferent to what happened to them, which is a bit like animals being slaughtered for food. People don't generally hate animals, they are just indifferent to what happens to them.
