Nutrition & Diet Protein shakes/bars etc

I'm in the UK.
Have found a few on google. Great to see there actually are quite a few! Found one site that listed two whey products as suitable for vegans though! I have sent them an email informing them if their mistake.
Just trying to see what ones anybody uses or could recommend? Xxx

We have been using hemp powder and just adding it to fruit snoothies, which we all have every morning. It doesn't really taste like anything. For yummy bars, I like clif bars, especially the raisin oatmeal and chocolate chip.

I just recently tried Garden of Life Raw Protein powder and it contains no casein or whey and it's vegan.I liked it because of the nutritional content and it was very filling but for whatever reason I had a stomach reaction to it.I don't know if it was the flavor because it was a coffee flavored powder or it might have been a reaction to something else in it.I want to try a different kind of flavor and see if the same thing happens.

The protein comes from chlorella which is an algea and also grains. But I'm not allergic to seaweed so I don't know what it was.You might not have the problem I had with it so I thought I would suggest it.I don't know if this is sold in the UK though.

Vega brand and Sun Warrier are two very good, reputable companies for protein powder. Some Cliff bars, Luna bars and others are vegan. They can be really high in calories though. Have you thought about making your granola or power bars yourself? There are many copycat recipes for luna bars on the web. Most use dates and nuts in them, and would healthier/cheaper

Thank you all for the suggestions. Am so pleased to see the variety out there.
Many companies I looked at had either soy or hemp. Soy seems to have the higher protein content. For what reason might you choose hemp? Xxx

My stomach is sensitive to soy, and so I use hemp or pea protein powders, as Jess mentioned above. My son prefers the hemp too, as he doesnt like to eat too much soy.

I usually make my own protein bars as there is very little choice overhere except for very sweet milk protein bars.

They are very easy to make and at least you can add the right amount of sugar/sweetener and your own favourite flavourings.
